Uttar Pradesh is witnessing measurable success in its skill development initiatives, as highlighted by Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal. ITI graduates are landing jobs in prestigious companies like Subros Ltd. and Havells, indicating the effectiveness of these state-led programs.
Agarwal, during a progress review meeting, reiterated the government's commitment to bridging the gap between industry demand and skill training. He announced a schedule for industry visits and structured timelines, ensuring that students receive training that meets current industrial needs.
The initiative also includes monthly job placement initiatives in collaboration with Deloitte India and partnerships with organizations such as the Automotive Skills Development Council, aiming to provide students with comprehensive practical exposure.
