Kerala is gearing up for one of its largest academic challenges, with over 4,25,000 students set to sit the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examinations. Announced by General Education Minister V Sivankutty, the exams will commence on March 5, 2026, and conclude on March 30.

The state plans a meticulous evaluation process from April 7 to 25, anticipating results on May 8, 2026. The infrastructure includes around 3,000 examination centres, extending to the Gulf region and Lakshadweep, ensuring accessibility for all candidates.

Simultaneously, around nine lakh students are expected to participate in the Plus One and Plus Two examinations this academic year. The first-year exams will run from March 5 to 27, and the second-year exams from March 6 to 28, with evaluations beginning April 6. Results are likely to be announced by May 22, 2026.
