In an innovative educational initiative, a primary school in Gujarat is revolutionizing the classroom dynamic through a project called 'Savaalo Ni Saal', or 'The Year of Questions'. This program aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, focusing on fostering critical thinking by encouraging students to ask questions actively.
Located in Sabarkantha district, Shri Chandap English Primary School began this transformative project earlier this year. According to an official release, the initiative aims to inspire curiosity, empower self-questioning, and promote solution-finding among students, illustrating notable success in the holistic development of these young minds.
Assistant teacher Kamlesh Kumar Patel noted that the project has eliminated hesitation among students, who now confidently express inquiries both verbally and via a dedicated question box. Parents have observed significant advancements in their children's speaking abilities and confidence, as students begin conducting independent research and engaging in logical discussions at home.
