Tragic Loss: Academic Pressure Claims Student's Life in Ballia

In a tragic incident that highlights the pressures faced by students, an 18-year-old named Sonam Chauhan reportedly died by suicide in Ballia district, Uttar Pradesh, on Tuesday night, according to police reports.
The event unfolded in Parshurampur village, within the jurisdiction of Nagara police station, where Chauhan was a Class-12 student at the Janata Inter College. Investigations reveal that she was distressed over her academic performance.
Upon receiving a report of the incident, Rasra Circle Officer Alok Gupta, along with police, arrived at the scene and sent Chauhan's body for a post-mortem examination. The police have launched a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate event.
