Lt Governor Manoj Sinha inaugurated an impressive Rs 200 crore industrial unit for Eveready Industries in Samba district, signaling a wave of development in Jammu and Kashmir since 2021's Industrial Policy launch.
Highlighting a sharp rise in investments and startup growth, Sinha emphasized Jammu and Kashmir's transformation into an industrial hub. The investment figures reflect a twelvefold increase, with several large-scale units like Chiripal Polyfilms and Kandhari Beverages setting up operations.
The Governor praised the economic progress as a response to regional instability, suggesting that India's developmental strides are a testament to its resilient spirit, contrasting with persistent terrorism challenges from neighboring nations.
