A tragic car accident near East Godavari in Andhra Pradesh claimed the lives of three individuals and left another critically injured early Wednesday morning. The vehicle was en route to Gajjaram village after medical treatment in Vellore when disaster struck.
According to Kovvur Deputy Superintendent of Police G Deva Kumar, the accident unfolded around 1.30 am near the Veeravalli toll plaza. Authorities report that the driver lost control due to rash and negligent driving at high speed, causing the car to collide with a roadside pole.
The severely injured person has been taken to a private hospital in Rajamahendravaram for ongoing treatment. Police have registered a case under relevant sections, emphasizing the need for safe driving practices in the wake of this tragic incident.
