Tragedy on the Tracks: Fatal Train Incident Near Pachdevra
Five individuals lost their lives in a tragic incident involving two trains near Pachdevra overbridge. While one man was hit by the Kalka Express, four others were run over by the Purushottam Express, which arrived subsequently. Efforts are ongoing to identify all victims.

In a tragic sequence of events, five individuals were killed after being struck by trains near the Pachdevra halt overbridge, officials reported on Wednesday.
Initial reports from Superintendent of Police Prashant Verma stated that the Kalka Express fatally injured one man, causing it to halt. Passengers, driven by curiosity, disembarked onto the tracks when suddenly the Purushottam Express arrived on the adjacent track, fatally striking four more individuals.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Sunil Kumar confirmed three victims have been identified, while efforts to ascertain the identities of the remaining two continue. The deceased were sent for post-mortem examinations.
