The Haryana government is fostering growth in micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with the formation of district-level clearance committees. These 18-member panels are intended to streamline processes, making them more efficient and transparent.
Following amendments to the Haryana Enterprise Promotion (Amendment) Rules, 2026, announced via an official notification, the initiative seeks to encourage investment and stimulate job creation. Headed by the district's deputy commissioner, the committees comprise representatives from essential sectors such as power, taxation, town planning, and labor.
Also participating are officials from HSIIDC, HSVP, MSME centers, AYUSH, and renewable energy, among others. With the joint or deputy director of the District Industries Centre acting as the member secretary, these bodies promise expedited resolution of industrial matters, contributing to an enhanced ease of doing business in Haryana.
