In a decisive move to bolster India's textile industry, the textiles ministry has extended the Rebate of State and Central Taxes and Levies (RoSCTL) Scheme for exports of apparel and made-ups until September 30, 2026.

The extension, announced on Wednesday, keeps existing guidelines intact and ensures continued financial support along the textile value chain. The RoSCTL Scheme aims to rebate all embedded state and central taxes not covered under other schemes, significantly enhancing the global competitiveness of Indian apparel exports.

Simultaneously, the government has continued the RoDTEP Scheme, benefiting non-RoSCTL textile products. These initiatives underscore the commitment to support MSME exporters, thereby sustaining India's edge in the global textile trade.
