War in Iran Disrupts Global Air Travel: Key Hubs Closed

In the wake of escalating tensions due to the war in Iran, the global air travel industry faces significant challenges as major Middle Eastern hubs, including Dubai, Doha, and Abu Dhabi, have been forced to close. This disruption has left tens of thousands of passengers stranded and has affected flight schedules worldwide.

Many significant carriers have responded by canceling flights to affected areas. Greece's Aegean Airlines has canceled flights to destinations such as Tel Aviv, Beirut, and Amman until further notice. Similarly, airBaltic has suspended all Dubai flights until October, and Air Canada has canceled its Dubai routes until late March.

While UAE's Emirates and Etihad Airways are operating at reduced capacities, European airlines like Lufthansa and British Airways have also adjusted their schedules amidst these challenges.
