A Russian drone attack tragically struck a civilian business in Ukraine's city of Kharkiv, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and injuring five others, according to local authorities.

Kharkiv's Mayor Ihor Terekhov shared via Telegram that preliminary reports confirmed two fatalities. Meanwhile, Regional Governor Oleh Syniehubov reported that the injured individuals are in serious condition and receiving necessary medical aid.

The drone strike also ignited a fire at the business premises. Kharkiv, situated merely 30 kilometers from the Russian border, has withstood significant military pressure since Russia's full-scale invasion in February 2022 and remains a frequent target of aerial attacks.
