Empowering Women: LGT Business Connextions Launches CSR Initiative in Tiruchirappalli

In a significant move aimed at uplifting women in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, LGT Business Connextions Limited has unveiled a new Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The program focuses on women's empowerment and providing avenues for sustainable livelihoods in the region.

Teaming up with Care For Life Trust, the company will conduct a Women Empowerment Program to impart sewing and stitching skills to 100 women. This initiative is implemented through the Usha Silai School Program, which will also supply sewing machines to the participants upon completion. Set to run from March 9 to March 15, 2026, this initiative is a step towards fostering financial independence among women.

The launch event, graced by Dr. Inigo S. Irudayaraj, Honourable MLA of Tiruchirappalli (East), as the Chief Guest, highlights the company's commitment to grassroots empowerment. Managing Director Wilfred Selvaraj emphasized the importance of equipping women with vocational skills. This program, in partnership with Usha Silai School, underscores LGT Business Connextions' dedication to meaningful and sustainable development through its CSR projects.
