Empowering Andhra Pradesh: Naidu's Vision for Women's Economic Upliftment

During International Women's Day celebrations at Amaravati Parade Grounds, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu underscored the pivotal role women entrepreneurs play in the state's economic empowerment. He symbolically presented a substantial financial aid cheque to women Self-help Groups (SHGs), reinforcing his commitment to empowering women in Andhra Pradesh.

Recognizing the leadership potential and financial acumen of women, Naidu lauded the significant strides made by female leaders across India, advocating for increased political representation with a 33% reservation in legislatures. He commended the state's successful Women and Children Development initiatives, revealing that over 1.1 lakh women have established MSMEs.

Naidu detailed government efforts such as the 'Swayam Brand' initiative and new collaborations aimed at enhancing market access and financial support for women SHGs. The agreements with organizations are set to bolster self-reliance and entrepreneurial opportunities, spanning sectors like agriculture, food processing, and digital, supporting the 'One Family One Entrepreneur' mission.
