Jiangsu, the second-largest economy among China's provinces, recorded an impressive economic output of 14 trillion yuan ($2 trillion) in 2025. This positions the province as a critical player in China's strategy to maintain industrial competitiveness amid escalating global trade tensions.

The province's AI advancements span across transport and manufacturing, as provincial governor Liu Xiaotao and sector officials detailed initiatives including AI-integrated logistics and smart manufacturing lines.
