In a bid to enhance menstrual health awareness, a two-day campaign marked International Women's Day at the Namo Bharat corridor stations in Delhi and Meerut. The initiative, which took place on March 7 and 8, aimed to educate women commuters about menstrual hygiene through a series of interactive activities.
The campaign, organized by the feminine hygiene brand Everteen in partnership with the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC), offered free hygiene kits to women. A photo booth and social media hashtags further encouraged participants to spread awareness, while trained team members led live discussions on the subject.
Launched on February 22 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Namo Bharat Regional Rapid System has been championed as a symbol of women empowerment, with most staff being women. The awareness drive sought to promote open dialogue on menstrual health and dispel common misconceptions while emphasizing healthy practices.
