Airlines across various major airports experienced check-in disruptions early Thursday morning, attributed to a significant software glitch that persisted for over 40 minutes, sources revealed.
Several airlines, including IndiGo, Air India Express, SpiceJet, and Akasa Air, were impacted, with airports in cities such as Delhi and Mumbai bearing the brunt of the problem.
The issue, which began around 6.45 am and resolved by 7.28 am, did not cause severe disruptions, as per the sources, and normal operations have since resumed. Airlines have yet to issue official statements on the incident.
