In a tragic incident on Monday, four people died when a truck overturned and fell onto two motorcycles on a national highway near Shahpur, Ambala, according to police reports.
The accident, occurring on the Tangri Bridge, is believed to have been caused by dense fog, leading the driver to lose control of the vehicle. The truck, traveling from Delhi to Chandigarh, blocked the road causing significant traffic disruption.
Emergency services promptly arrived at the scene, utilizing cranes to lift the truck, and discovered two bodies buried under it, while two others were found nearby. Efforts are underway to redirect traffic and restore normalcy on the Delhi-Ambala Highway.
