Chaos Unleashed: Runaway Container Truck Causes Havoc on Ghodbunder Road

A serious traffic incident unfolded on Ghodbunder Road, Thane, when a container truck driver lost control of the vehicle, damaging 13 vehicles and injuring one person. The accident occurred around 4.30 pm in the Gaimukh area, causing significant traffic disruptions.

According to Yasin Tadvi, Chief of the Disaster Management Cell of Thane Municipal Corporation, the driver of the container truck fled the scene after the accident, creating chaos on the busy road. The truck struck multiple cars and autorickshaws during the incident.

Civic and traffic officials promptly arrived at the scene and managed to clear the road by 5.20 pm. Efforts are underway by local police to locate the runaway driver involved in this traffic chaos.
