The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) is launching a pilot for Bharat Aayat Niryat Lab Setu, a new digital platform aimed at revolutionizing testing and certification in foreign trade. Announced on Monday, this initiative targets a faster and more efficient process, connecting exporters, importers, and accredited agencies through one interface.

Starting November 4, the pilot phase will allow stakeholders to engage with the system. By November 11, users can apply for product tests and certifications, significantly reducing delays, improving traceability of results, and boosting global trust in India's export quality.

During the pilot, traditional methods will run parallel to the new system, ensuring a smooth transition. This development promises to enhance the visibility and accessibility of testing agencies across India, ushering in a new era of transparency and efficiency for the country's foreign trade operations.
