VinFast Drives India's Electric Revolution
VinFast is aiding India's transition to electric vehicles by helping new EV owners adapt to changes such as driving and charging routines. With models like the VF 6 and VF 7, VinFast is easing the adaptation process through features that encourage efficient driving and maintain longer vehicle life.
As India experiences a surge in households adopting electric vehicles, VinFast steps in to facilitate smoother transitions for first-time owners. In fiscal year 2024-25, India registered a remarkable 115,800 electric four-wheelers—an increase of 15% from the previous year, indicating a significant shift from petrol to electric cars.
Driving an electric vehicle involves adjusting to new habits. Unlike petrol cars, EVs offer instant torque, tempting drivers to accelerate harder. However, smooth and steady driving is essential for optimal range. Features like regenerative braking and drive modes in VinFast models help drivers maximize efficiency without compromising performance.
Charging habits also need revisiting. For longer battery life, it's advised to keep charge levels between 20% and 80% and avoid frequent fast charging. VinFast's VF 6 and VF 7 model’s durable batteries are designed with this longevity in mind, coupled with significant warranties to ensure confidence in durability.
