Freight Corridor Chaos: Bull Causes Major Train Derailment

A major train derailment occurred in Rajasthan's Sikar district on Tuesday night after a bull wandered onto the tracks, officials reported. The incident caused significant disruption on a key freight corridor.
The goods train, which was en route to Rewari from Phulera, suffered derailment of thirty-eight wagons—16 of which were empty, while 22 carried rice sacks. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported among personnel.
The derailment impacted two tracks within the corridor, prompting immediate restoration efforts. Officials have commenced work to clear the affected tracks and restore services to normalcy.
