Reliance Enterprise Intelligence Ltd (REIL), the joint venture between Reliance and Facebook, has announced a significant leadership appointment. Parminder Singh has been named as the company's Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, the organization revealed on Thursday.

Holding a 70% stake, Reliance looks to capitalize on Meta's artificial intelligence prowess, combined with its own expansive enterprise infrastructure and Jio's widespread connectivity across India, to amplify AI adoption within the nation's business landscape. Newly appointed CEO Singh has a formidable background, having worked with global giants like Google, Apple, Twitter, and IBM.

REIL's strategic vision is corroborated by Reliance Jio Infocomm Chairman Akash Ambani, who sees this as a generational opportunity to bolster India's enterprise AI capabilities. Singh's leadership is expected to steer REIL towards becoming a trusted AI authority in India, leveraging the combined strengths of Jio and Meta.
