On Wednesday, Jeh Aerospace, an aerospace manufacturer based in the United States, announced that it has entered into a long-term agreement with France's Liebherr-Aerospace, an original equipment manufacturer. The agreement is for the production of precision landing gear components for narrow-body commercial aircraft programs.
The components will be manufactured and supplied from Jeh Aerospace's facility in Hyderabad, India. This partnership is notable as it marks Jeh's integration into Liebherr's global industrial network, a significant development acknowledged during the visit of senior Liebherr-Aerospace officials, including Martin Wandel, COO and MD at Liebherr-Aerospace & Transportation SAS.
Landing gear production requires meeting extremely tight dimensional tolerances and stringent quality standards. Jeh Aerospace has so far delivered over 200,000 flight-critical components with zero quality escapes, underscoring their proficiency. This new collaboration signifies a milestone achieved through adherence to precision and process discipline, as emphasized by Vishal R Sanghavi, Jeh's Founder and CEO.
