The Delhi government's technical evaluation committee has approved a plan to overhaul the network infrastructure at the Secretariat to ensure seamless connectivity and efficient cloud use.
Due to outdated performance, the current LAN requires significant updates to align with new technology and improve internet connectivity. The Public Works Department proposed a detailed plan for revamping, including a heat map report covering 4,000 users and 250 Wi-Fi access points.
Modernizing the Secretariat's LAN and Wi-Fi infrastructure aims to provide a robust, secure network supporting e-governance and internal collaboration, thus boosting productivity and inter-departmental coordination.
