Wipro, a leader in IT services, announced the opening of a new technology hub in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City), Gandhinagar, aimed at revolutionizing the banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) sector through artificial intelligence.
Initially accommodating 150 employees, the hub has the potential to expand to 500, depending on client requirements. This facility will enhance Wipro's capabilities in digital banking, capital markets, regulatory tech, risk and compliance, and core platform modernisation.
The center leverages 'Wipro Intelligence', a suite of AI-driven platforms, to empower global BFSI clients by embedding AI into financial workflows responsibly, thus meeting the increasing demand for AI-driven BFSI transformation.
