Nvidia's Global Expansion: AI Supercomputers and Strategic Alliances

Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang revealed plans to construct seven new supercomputers for the U.S. Department of Energy, demonstrating the company's pivotal role in the AI sector. The announcement comes amidst Nvidia's $500 billion in AI chip bookings, showcasing its influence on global AI technology deployment.
The supercomputers, part of an effort to maintain and develop the U.S. nuclear arsenal, are also set to help research alternative energy sources like nuclear fusion. In collaboration with Oracle, these new machines will utilize 100,000 Nvidia Blackwell chips, marking a significant advancement in computing capabilities.
Additionally, Nvidia is investing $1 billion in Nokia to enhance telecommunications infrastructure, such as 6G base stations. The company's strategic partnerships extend to sectors beyond traditional data centers, positioning Nvidia as a leader in various technological advancements, including a new self-driving platform, Hyperion.
