Bengaluru FC Triumphs in Thrilling RFDL Finale

Bengaluru FC emerged victorious in the highly anticipated final of the 2025-26 Reliance Foundation Development League, defeating FC Goa 1-0 at the Bambolim Stadium on Saturday. This win secured Bengaluru FC's third RFDL title, reinforcing their status as the most successful team in India's U-21 football scene, according to RFDL.

The match's pivotal moment unfolded in the 54th minute when Kelvin Singh's cross incited chaos in FC Goa's box, allowing Ricky Meetei to capitalize and score the decisive goal. Despite FC Goa's relentless efforts to equalize, Bengaluru FC's defense remained resolute, securing their hard-earned victory.

The RFDL's fifth season saw 261 matches and participation from 54 teams across nine football-rich regions, continuing to enhance youth football development in India.
