RCB's Modest Target: A 175-Runs Challenge for Delhi Capitals
Royal Challengers Bengaluru set a modest target of 176 runs for Delhi Capitals despite a strong start. Contributions from Phil Salt with 63 runs and Tim David's 26 failed to push the total beyond 175/8. Delhi, eager for a win after consecutive losses, will chase the total at Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) put up a modest total of 176 runs against Delhi Capitals (DC), despite a promising start at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday. RCB, asked to bat first, saw a solid opening partnership contribute 52 runs, but failed to capitalize fully on the session.
Phil Salt and Virat Kohli began with vigor, but Kohli fell short of marking his 300th IPL six and was dismissed after scoring 19. The team managed 59 runs in the power play, with Devdutt Padikkal at number three adding a quick 18 before succumbing to captain Axar Patel's efforts.
RCB's innings saw a mix of starts but little consolidation. Salt shone with a swift half-century of 63 runs, alongside Tim David's energetic 26. Yet, the hopes of a towering total were dashed, leaving DC with a 176-run pursuit to potentially end their series of defeats.
