Cristiano Ronaldo made a stunning return to the field after recovering from a month-long injury, scoring twice in the second half of Al Nassr's 5-2 victory against Al Najma. The match took place on Friday in the Saudi Pro League.

Having been sidelined since February and missing several crucial matches for both his club and country, Ronaldo's return was eagerly anticipated. Al Najma, languishing at the bottom of the league with only one win in 27 games, took an unforeseen lead just before halftime.

Al Nassr quickly turned the game around with goals from Abdullah Al Hamdan and Sadio Mane by first-half stoppage time. Though Al Najma equalized shortly after the break, Ronaldo's converted penalty and subsequent goal, along with Mane's late strike, sealed the triumph for Al Nassr, who remain top of the standings with 70 points.
