In the women's player draft for The Hundred, Indian cricketers made their mark with Smriti Mandhana leading the way. Notably, Richa Ghosh landed a deal worth GBP 50,000, while Deepti Sharma was picked for GBP 27,500. The League will run from July 21 to August 16.

In a significant move, India's opener Smriti Mandhana took center stage in the women's player draft for The Hundred. Among other notable Indian players, Richa Ghosh grabbed headlines by securing a deal worth GBP 50,000, equivalent to approximately Rs 61 lakh, with Manchester Super Giants.

In addition to Mandhana's presence, all-rounder Deepti Sharma successfully earned a contract with SunRisers Leeds at a bargain price of GBP 27,500. Meanwhile, the IPL-styled draft featured a total of 178 players, with 28 players either retained or directly signed before the bidding.

The League's matches are scheduled from July 21 to August 16. Despite impressive signings, some Indian players, like Yastika Bhatia and Sree Charani, unfortunately went unsold during the auction.
