Pickleball sensation Anna Leigh Waters is set to make her international debut at the PPA Tour Asia's Hanoi Cup in Vietnam, marking a significant milestone for the sport's global outreach, according to organizers on Tuesday.

Waters, who holds the top spot on the Carvana PPA Tour in several categories, will partner with Anna Bright for women's doubles and Ben Johns for mixed doubles at the event scheduled from April 1-5 at the My Dinh Indoor Athletics Arena. The tournament will award 1,000 ranking points to champions under the Professional Pickleball Association's global ranking system.

Beyond the tournament, Waters, recognized as one of pickleball's prominent figures, will conduct clinics and a showcase event in Ho Chi Minh City, April 6-7, in collaboration with Franklin Sports. Waters turned professional at just 12 and has since been influential in popularizing pickleball in the U.S. and internationally.
