Jorge Martin Returns to MotoGP Track in Pre-Season Test
Former MotoGP champion Jorge Martin will return to the race track for the final pre-season test in Buriram after receiving medical clearance. Following a challenging 2025 season marked by injuries, Martin's return is highly anticipated. The two-day testing session will begin on Saturday.
Former MotoGP champion Jorge Martin is set to make his comeback to the racetrack during the final pre-season test in Buriram, as confirmed by his Aprilia team last Friday. Martin, 28, received the green light from the FIM Grand Prix World Championship medical unit, allowing him to travel to Thailand.
Martin's much-awaited return comes after a difficult 2025 season during which he switched to Aprilia but suffered significant injuries from a pre-season crash and one at the Qatar Grand Prix. These setbacks sidelined him for a portion of the races. December witnessed him undergoing revision surgeries on his left wrist and right collarbone.
The two-day testing session in Buriram is set to commence on Saturday, marking Martin's first on-track appearance since last year's Valencia post-race test.
