Sri Lanka's captain, Dasun Shanaka, won the toss and elected to bat first against Zimbabwe in a vital Group B matchup of the T20 World Cup on Thursday.
Fast bowler Dilshan Madushanka entered the Sri Lankan team in place of the injured Matheesha Pathirana, marking the only change for the side.
Zimbabwe decided to stick with the same eleven that featured in their last match. Both teams have already secured their spots in the Super Eights stage of the tournament.
