Al-Hilal Triumphs Unbeaten in Asian Champions League

Al-Hilal secured their place in the knockout stages of the Asian Champions League, maintaining the only unbeaten record in the tournament. They achieved this feat with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Al-Wahda in Riyadh, thanks to two pivotal goals by ex-Liverpool star Darwin Nunez.

Despite Shabab Al-Ahli's 4-3 loss to defending champions Al-Ahli, their advancement was confirmed due to Sharjah FC's defeat to Nasaf. Al-Duhail's fate, however, hangs in the balance after their narrow 3-2 loss to Al-Shorta, with crucial matches ahead to determine their future in the tournament.

Other matches saw late drama and pivotal performances, with Al-Ahli and Al-Shorta both securing important victories. The top eight teams will progress to the knockout rounds, commencing in March in a centralised setting in Jeddah.
