Blue Tigresses Triumph Over Zvezda-2005 in Antalya

The Indian senior women's national team secured a 2-0 victory over Russian side Zvezda-2005 Perm in a friendly held in Antalya, thanks to goals from Anju Tamang and Lynda Kom Serto.

This match marks their fifth friendly fixture in Antalya, as they gear up for the AFC Women's Asian Cup 2026 in Australia. Anju Tamang opened the scoring early in the ninth minute, while Lynda Kom Serto's late strike sealed the win.

The Blue Tigresses will play their final game in Türkiye against FK Csíkszereda Miercurea Ciuc of Romania on February 7, before heading to Australia for their Asian Cup campaign. They will face Vietnam, Japan, and Chinese Taipei in the group stages.
