A critical dismissal of Australia's Phoebe Litchfield, who was dominating with 119 off 93 balls, marked a turning point, courtesy of Amanjot Kaur. Alongside Kaur, Shree Charani delivered a pivotal spell, curtailing Australia's ambitions for a larger total and ensuring a narrow win for India.
Reflecting on the historical win, Amanjot described the emotional high of defeating Australia, setting up an anticipated final against South Africa. Both teams are eyeing a maiden trophy, bringing a fresh narrative to the championship.
