Australian captain Alyssa Healy praised India's Jemimah Rodrigues for her mental resilience in leading India to a record chase against Australia in the Women's ODI World Cup semifinal. Jemimah's century ended Australia's 15-match winning streak and propelled India to the final. Healy called for more ODI matches in the calendar.

Australian skipper Alyssa Healy has commended the mental resilience of India’s Jemimah Rodrigues, whose performance was instrumental in India reaching the Women’s ODI World Cup final. Healy acknowledged that their defeat was unexpected, especially given Australia's usual clinical form.
Jemimah’s unbeaten century led India to a record chase, ending the seven-time champions' 15-match unbeaten World Cup run. Despite Australia’s attempts to capitalize late in the game, mistakes on fielding and bowling allowed India to secure their victory.
Healy suggested that this loss might serve as motivation for Australia to refine their game further. She also emphasized the importance of having more one-day internationals in the cricket calendar to foster global competitiveness and enthusiasm for the sport.
