Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has officially unveiled the emblem and mascot for the PUNE GRAND TOUR 2026, marking India's inaugural Pro Stage Elite Race for Men as part of the UCI 2.2 series.

The race is a crucial qualifier for the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Olympics, allowing international cyclists to earn vital points. Scheduled from January 19 to 23, it promises to be a multi-stage, multi-day event traversing Pune's urban, hilly, and rural terrains.

This initiative positions Maharashtra as a beacon of global cycling, with hopes to nurture local talent and inspire a new generation of cyclists in India, in collaboration with the Cycling Federation of India and local authorities.
