The stage is set for a golfing spectacle as The Poona Club Ltd. partners with the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) to host the second edition of The Poona Club Open. The tournament, held from October 28th to 31st at the Poona Club Golf Course, boasts a lucrative prize purse of Rs 1 crore.
Indian golfing professionals such as Veer Ahlawat, Yuvraj Sandhu, and Arjun Prasad are among the prominent names headlining this event. Additionally, the tournament will see international players like Sri Lankan N Thangaraja and Nepal’s Subash Tamang taking up the challenge.
The competition, spanning four days, will feature 126 players in a 72-hole stroke-play format. After 36 holes, the top 50 players will advance, continuing to battle for top honors in this prestigious golf tournament.
