The Wistron Ladies Open faced an unexpected delay on Friday due to rain, with Tvesa Malik leading the Indian players by positioning herself at T19. Malik started on the back nine and played through eight holes with an even par score before the suspension.

Meanwhile, Avani Prashanth encountered difficulties, managing five over par through nine holes, placing her at T-51. The challenging weather conditions prevented Pranavi Urs and Hitaashee Bakshi from playing any holes after a commendable performance at the Indian Open.

At the time of the suspension, Lauren Walsh and Kornkamol Sukaree led the field with scores of four under par across 12 holes. Shannon Tan and Chiara Tamburlini hadn't begun their rounds, while Canadian teenager Anna Huang was at T-28 after 11 holes played.
