Pakistan Withdraws from Junior Hockey World Cup
Pakistan has decided not to participate in the 2025 Junior Hockey World Cup in India, owing to strained sporting ties. The FIH will soon announce a replacement team for the event scheduled to take place in Chennai and Madurai from November to December.

Pakistan has officially withdrawn from participating in the Junior Hockey World Cup scheduled for November and December in India, as confirmed by the international hockey federation (FIH) to PTI.
The tournament, initially including Pakistan, will now see a replacement team, to be named soon, competing in its place. Matches are set to be held in Chennai and Madurai.
Relations between India and Pakistan in the sporting arena have been tense following the April 22 Pahalagam terror attack, compounded by India's response through Operation Sindoor.
