The occasion marks the inauguration of the Ganga Expressway, a pivotal infrastructure project set to link Meerut and Prayagraj.

With preparations almost complete, the district administration remains vigilant, ensuring no detail is overlooked. From traffic management to security protocols, an extensive range of arrangements are underway to guarantee a flawless execution. The 594-km expressway is poised to significantly boost the state's connectivity and economic vibrancy, officials confirm.

Upon completion, this critical expressway will slash travel times between Meerut and Prayagraj from 11 hours to around six to eight hours. Local economies anticipate a surge in trade and industry, bolstered by improved transportation networks. Adityanath has urged officials to finalize all plans by the prime minister's arrival, ensuring a dignified and successful event.
