Tree Trouble in Thane: Falling Giants Cause Havoc
Two tree falls in Thane left behind a trail of damaged vehicles, shops, and a hotel structure. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incidents, handled swiftly by the local civic officials and fire brigade. The damaged locations included Baba Patil Wadi for parked vehicles and Pachpakadi area for a hotel and shops.

In Thane, two separate incidents of tree falls caused significant damage on Thursday but thankfully resulted in no injuries, according to civic officials.
The first incident occurred at Baba Patil Wadi in Mumbra, where a tree toppled onto two parked autorickshaws at around 11 am, as reported by District Disaster Management Cell chief Yasin Tadvi.
Meanwhile, in the Pachpakadi area, another tree crash near a hotel damaged its shed and two neighboring shops. Fire brigade personnel promptly attended both sites to remove the debris and ensure public safety.
