Noida International Airport is setting a benchmark in sustainable aviation infrastructure by incorporating cold roll forming technology in its furniture manufacturing. Industry experts express that this process not only ensures precision manufacturing but also minimizes material wastage, marking a step forward in environmental sustainability.

According to Santosh Venkatasubbaiah, Director of Sales and Marketing at Mother India Forming, the use of cold roll forming significantly lowers emission levels and waste, offering stronger and more durable materials. The airport has installed over 6,000 furniture units that are 66% recyclable, aligning with broader sustainability goals.

As the Airports Authority of India oversees expansion nationwide, the Jewar initiative at Noida International Airport serves as a model for integrating sustainable practices into operational infrastructure. Aligning manufacturing processes with environmental objectives can speed up India's journey to net-zero aviation emissions.
