Tragic Accident: Boy Electrocuted in Maharashtra

A seven-year-old boy tragically passed away after a fatal encounter with a live electric feeder pillar in Thane district, Maharashtra, authorities disclosed on Wednesday.
The incident unfolded in the Jijai Nagar locality of Dombivli on Sunday morning. The child was playing with a ball that rolled towards the feeder pillar, managed by the state power utility, Mahavitaran. Upon attempting to retrieve it, he received a deadly high-voltage shock.
Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, the boy was pronounced dead. The police have registered a case of accidental death and are investigating, though no foul play is suspected, based on the father's statement.
