Jammu and Kashmir is set to enhance its road connectivity, particularly focusing on rural and remote regions, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary announced on Sunday.
While laying the foundation stone for six major road projects under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, worth Rs 91.05 crore, Choudhary emphasized the importance of timely and quality construction to strengthen infrastructure within the Union Territory.
Notably, the projects aim to cover 36.30 km across five constituencies, prioritizing transparency, accountability, and sustainable development, particularly in border areas like R S Pura sector.
