Delegates from over 30 nations, including researchers and policymakers, are set to gather in Mumbai next February to discuss climate change solutions at the 'Mumbai Climate Week'.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced the event will occur from February 17 to 19, 2023. Organized by Project Mumbai in partnership with the Maharashtra Environment and Climate Change Department and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, the event is a significant step in India's climate action.
Topics of discussion will include food systems, energy transition, and urban resilience, with a focus on justice, innovation, and finance. The conference aims to foster inclusive, citizen-led solutions for a sustainable future in the Global South.
