A tragic incident unfolded in the Manoharpur area on Tuesday when a private bus caught fire after coming into contact with a hanging electricity wire, resulting in the death of two individuals, while five others sustained injuries, according to the local police.
The bus, carrying a group of laborers, was traversing an internal 'kaccha' road near a village when the calamity occurred. After the bus made contact with a live wire, it ignited, though the flames were eventually extinguished, as reported by Rashi Dogra Dudi, Superintendent of Police, Jaipur (Rural).
The injured victims were promptly transported to SMS hospital for medical treatment. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the details surrounding the incident.
