The system, which moved northwestwards across the north Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and south Andhra Pradesh coasts, was positioned over north coastal Tamil Nadu as per the IMD's recent bulletin issued at 1730 hrs IST today. It is anticipated to continue its journey west-northwest and reduce to a low-pressure area over the coming day.
Additionally, a depression over the southeast Arabian Sea, positioned 620 km west-southwest of Aminidivi and 980 km southwest of Panjim, is predicted to shift direction from northward to north-northeastwards within 24 hours, according to the IMD.
