India's Army chief, General Upendra Dwivedi, has been inducted into the International Hall of Fame at the US Army War College in Pennsylvania. He follows in the footsteps of Generals V K Singh and Bikram Singh, becoming the third Indian Army Chief to receive this prestigious honor.

During his visit, General Dwivedi engaged with the college's faculty and international officers, discussing leadership, professional military education, and security dynamics. His itinerary included touring facilities, participating in panel discussions, and reviewing scholars' advanced study projects.

The Army chief's US tour began in Hawaii, where he received a Guard of Honour at Fort Shafter and conferred with General Ronald P. Clark on enhancing India-US Defense Cooperation. These discussions are a part of ongoing high-level military exchanges between India and the United States.
